Why are you crying, alone in the dark?
Where could Mummy & Daddy Shark be?
How could they leave you alone in the sea?
I will tell you little Angel Fish,
I will tell you my dearest wish.
I wish the world would love the sea
And care about us and let us be.

Who made you cry such a huge sea of tears?
Can’t you just tell me your worries or fears?
My father, Big Shark, was killed by a man.
For no real reason, he shot him and ran.
People don’t like us and we don’t know why
And it makes me so sad and it makes me cry.
Don’t cry Little Shark, I will hold you tight
And I will help you in this bad fight.
We can pray that people start helping the sea
And stop killing the families of you and of me.
Thank you little Angel Fish, I feel better now,
I feel there is hope for us, really, somehow.
If we pull together as a family in the sea,
We can fight back bravely, then they’ll let us be.

I will get all the fishes to fight for our sea.
